El administrador del foro oficial de Shakira, Ramon aclaró a traves de su facebook que "The Border" es solo un demo grabado hace un año y que no es parte del material discografico del nuevo cd de Shakira:
"What is all the hype for "The border?" Its just a demo...about 1 year old and won't be feature on Shakira's new cd nor Wyclef , She can do better than that."
